Ottawa's Jason Spezza and Dany Heatley piled on a familiar victim, each scoring twice against Pittsburgh in a 4-1 win. Spezza also assisted on Heatley's goals. The Senators ended a triumphant roadtrip in style, finishing with a 4-0-1 record; the Penguins continued to stumble after winning seven of a recent eight. In other hockey excitement:

  • Florida goalie Tomas Vokoun improved to 7-0 against St. Louis with a 1-0 shutout, the 24th of his career.
