A British man has been left disabled by a stranger who decided he wanted to try his hand at dwarf tossing. Martin Henderson was celebrating his 37th birthday in a pub when he stepped outside for a cigarette and was seized by a man who picked him up and dropped him on the ground. The 4-foot-2 actor suffered tissue damage to his back and now needs a Zimmer frame to get around and a wheelchair for longer journeys, the Telegraph reports.

Henderson, who appeared in two Harry Potter movies, says he believes his attacker was inspired by the antics of the England rugby team, who had been in the news weeks earlier for attending an event called the "Mad Midget Weekender" at a bar in New Zealand. "I guess I was an easy target," he says. "People's attitudes to me when I go out can be pretty cruel. Most are OK but you get the odd idiot who will make fun and start laughing at me. You just have to ignore it but this is the first time I have been picked up and thrown about." Police are trying to track down his attacker. (More Britain stories.)
