Talk about taking your job a little too seriously. A pair of Domino's Pizza managers in Lake City, Florida, have been charged with burning down a rival Papa John's Pizza franchise, the Ocala Star-Banner reports. Police arrested one manager, Sean Everett Davidson, 23, on Thursday, and say he confessed to the Oct. 20 arson attack. Cops nabbed Bryan David Sullivan, 22, a day later and charged him with arson.
One curious detail, besides the suspects' inability to understand the concept of rival food chains: They allegedly admit to building an ignition device but insist they didn't use it. The managers say they dismantled the device and tossed it out of their vehicle on the I-75. So, anyone spotting an 8-inch-long clock attached to a 9-volt battery and a small ball of black gunpowder in Central Florida is advised to call 911. (More arson stories.)
