Arizona 'Vampire' Stabbing: Cops Say He Cut Friend Who Wouldn't Let Him Drink His Blood

A literally bloodthirsty Arizona man was sentenced to three years of probation yesterday, after he was convicted of stabbing a roommate who wouldn’t let him drink his blood. Aaron Homer, 24, was arrested in October after stabbing his roommate, Robert Maley, 25, in the arm. Maley testified that he had let Homer suck his blood once before, but only because Homer threatened to cut his ex-girlfriend with a knife, the Arizona Republic reports.

When he demanded an encore in October, Maley refused. “I said no, and he flipped,” Maley told police. “He said, ‘I’m doing it,’ and then boom … he stabbed me.” Maley then fled the apartment, trailing both his real blood, and fake blood that Homer and his girlfriend had spread on the floor. “They think they are vampires,” Maley said of the pair. Homer admitted to the stabbing, saying Maley had made fun of his “religion.” (More vampire stories.)
