The "R-word" isn't any more welcome on TV than the "N-word" is on radio, apparently. Jennifer Aniston has come under fire from disability groups after saying "retard" while being interviewed on Live with Regis and Kelly. "Yes, I play dress up!" Aniston said while discussing dressing up as Barbra Streisand for a Harper's Bazaar shoot. "I do it for a living, like a retard!"

Disability groups say her choice of words was inappropriate and offensive. "Sadly, people use the word pervasively even if they don't realize it," a spokeswoman for the Special Olympics tells Us. "People with intellectual disabilities have fought their whole lives for understanding and recognition. When people continue to use the R-word, it's hurtful." New Jersey definitely thinks so; it banned the use of the "R-word" this week. Click here for more on that story. (Or click here to see what TV personality Jen dated in the '90s.)
