If you’re a woman between 18 and 34, there’s a 34% chance you check your social networks first thing in the morning…even before taking a potty break. More from a recent Oxygen Media study, via Mashable:

  • Of the 1,605 young women sampled, 42% think it’s perfectly fine to post pictures of themselves “visibly intoxicated,” and 79% are OK with kissing photos.
  • A full 57% admit they talk to people more often online than in person, and 39% admit they’re addicted to Facebook.

  • Can’t sleep? Join the 21% who check Facebook in the middle of the night.
  • Privacy apparently isn’t a concern for the 50% who don’t mind friending strangers.
  • Facebook can be useful for the 49% who use it to keep tabs on a significant other and the 58% who use it to spy on “frenemies.”
  • Thankfully, only 6% use Facebook to “hook up,” and only 9% use it to break up.
