It could be a whole different ballgame in the general election, but one thing has become clear in the primaries: Candidates endorsed by Sarah Palin tend to win. Three of the four she backed yesterday won or advanced to a runoff, bringing her overall record to 8-3 in this year's midterms, reports Time.
Palin candidates generally get some money and mentions on Facebook and Twitter—all of which seems to drive grass-roots donations—but Palin sometimes takes a more aggressive approach, as she did with Nikki Haley. She tells Time her philosophy: "Oftentimes I'm looking at the candidate who shares the circumstances in which I've been: underfunded, up against the machine, no big endorsements, running a grass-roots campaign with the help of volunteer friends and family," she says.
