In what may be the worst possible way to convince your ex to take you back, a JetBlue pilot allegedly emailed his girlfriend saying he'd crash the plane he was scheduled to fly out of Boston yesterday if she didn't reconcile with him. The pilot was taken into custody at Logan Airport yesterday, questioned by the FBI and removed to a hospital for psychiatric treatment, WBZ NewsRadio reports.

But a JetBlue spokesman denied the reports, calling the story "vicious rumor and speculation." According to the airline, the pilot was removed from duty for health reasons, not for threatening to crash a plane. JetBlue said that no passengers or aircraft were ever in danger, AP reports.
