In the heat of the British election campaign, a reporter asked David Cameron for his favorite joke. "Nick Clegg," he answered. A reporter helpfully reminded Britain's new prime minister of that during his press conference today with his new deputy prime minister, that same Nick Clegg. Cameron could do nothing but sheepishly admit to it, and Clegg (who seemed to be hearing of it for the first time) jokingly pretended to storm off.

They're still in honeymoon phase, and it's easy to laugh these things off. Still, Catherine Mayer of Time senses a genuine "chemistry" between the two, which they will most certainly need. "It's hard to imagine the hard-line Euroskeptics on the right of Cameron's party working hand in hand with the Europhiles on the left of Clegg's," she writes. "The honeymoon can't last forever, but for now it's hard not to wish the happy couple the best of British."
