The University of Virginia lacrosse player accused of killing his ex-girlfriend once had his own dad call the cops on him, ABC News reports. In 2008, while the family was on their yacht in Florida, George Huguely's father filed a domestic abuse complaint against his son. Huguely, who's facing first-degree murder charges in the death of Yeardley Love, jumped into the water before the cops arrived and wasn't arrested.

That wasn't Huguely's only brush with the law. Also in 2008, the lacrosse star was charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest and public swearing after clashing with a female police officer. "We did end up on the ground at one point," said the cop, who Tasered the 209-pound Huguely. In separate incidents in 2007, Huguely was nabbed for reckless driving and alcohol possession by a minor. Love's funeral is scheduled for tomorrow.
