Gone are the days when non-Broadway fans had never heard of any Tony Award nominees: This year, Denzel Washington, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Kelsey Grammer are all up for honors. Washington and Law are nominated for best actor performances in plays (Fences and Hamlet) while Zeta-Jones and Grammer are nominated for lead actress/actor in musicals (A Little Night Music and La Cage aux Folles), the AP reports.

Fela! and La Cage aux Folles top the nominations list with 11 each, including best musical for Fela! and best musical revival for La Cage aux Folles. Fences follows with 10 nods. One notable best musical nominee: Green Day’s American Idiot. Other celebrity nominees include Alfred Molina, Liev Schreiber, Christopher Walken, Laura Linney, Sean Hayes, Scarlett Johansson, David Alan Grier, and Angela Lansbury. For more nominees, click here. The awards will be held June 13.
