Turns out Jesse James' penchant for posing in an SS hat is nothing new: His father tells TMZ his son’s “fascination with the Nazis” started young. “He liked their war machine, he liked their uniforms, he liked their guns, he liked everything about them,” says Larry James, who for some reason fueled that interest buy buying Jesse “books—not about Nazism, but about the war—and he liked reading about that.”

The single most bizarrely funny sentence of the entire interview: “I had a friend that was a Nazi that I used to do antique shows with,” says Larry. This friend took one look at Jesse—“tall, blond hair, blue eyes”—and “came up and told me, ‘There’s a perfect example for the master race,’” Larry recalls. This friend passed along “a bunch of literature,” and Father of the Year Larry gave it to Jesse—“as a joke,” of course.
