Graham Cut From Pentagon Pray-In After Muslim Dig

The Pentagon has decided that a preacher who says Islam is "vile and evil" and that Muslims can only be accepted by God through faith in Jesus isn't an appropriate speaker for an all-faith prayer event. Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, has been disinvited from National Day of Prayer services because of his comments on Islam, a military spokesman says.

A group representing Muslim military personnel had strongly objected to Graham's speaking at the event. "This is as bright a day for the US Constitution and freedoms in this country as it is a dark day for Islamic extremists because their propaganda tool has been taken away, the head of the Military Religious Freedom Association told AOL News. Graham issued a statement saying he regretted the Pentagon's decision and that he'll keep praying for the military.
