Watch out, Conan: George Lopez doesn’t like you any more than you like Jay Leno. Lopez’s “the lady doth protest too much” moment of overexcited glee at O’Brien’s arrival on TBS was all an act, sources tell the New York Post. Unsurprisingly, Lopez didn’t actually want his show to be pushed back an hour for Conan’s sake—but “he was told that if he wasn't supportive, his show would not be renewed,” says a source.

Adding to the animosity: “Conan's contract states that if Lopez's show is canceled, then Conan will be able to develop a show for the midnight hour, as well,” the source says. “It's in Conan's best interest for Lopez's show to fail.” Reps for TBS and Lopez deny the report, of course.
