Facebook has shut down a month-old page purporting to be the online presence of Osama bin Laden. "There is no evidence to suggest that the account in question or the other dozens of people who have tried to present themselves as Osama Bin Laden have any relation to the terrorist," a Facebook rep tells the Big Money. "As is our standard practice, we have disabled the account."

The fake terrorist leader titled his page "The leader of the Mujahideen, Osama bin Laden" and gave his location as "the mountains of the world," reports the UK Sun, which broke the story. The page was originally in Arabic and later added English-language messages.
