After compiling its list of the most conservative-friendly counties in the US, the right-leaning Daily Caller now brings it with the top counties for liberals:

• San Francisco. With liberals, unions and gays, “surprise, surprise,” Chris Palko writes.
• Montgomery County, Md. This DC suburb is rich, educated, and home to “the bureaucrats conservatives despise.”

• Marin County, Calif. Just over the Golden Gate from San Francisco, Marin has the country’s highest BMW concentration, and “environmentalism could be viewed as the county’s religion.”
• Boulder County, Colo. Home to the University of Colorado and pretty well-off, “it’s quite an honor to be the best university-based setting for liberals.”
• New York County, NY. Home to Manhattan and ever more gentrified, this county voted 85% for Barack Obama.
