Teen Busted for Drinking Inside Cop Car
Tasha Lee Cantrell   (Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office)

Picture this: Your friend is pulled over and charged with DUI. Stranded, you ask one of the responding police officers for a ride home, and he obliges. Ensconced in the back seat, you…pop open a can of beer? Did we mention you’re 19? Instantly, a ride home turns into a ride to the police station. If this sounds like you, you’re Tasha Lee Cantrell, and somehow still smiling in your mug shot.

The Okaloosa County, Fla., sheriff's deputy heard Cantrell “open a can of some sort” in the back of his vehicle, the Smoking Gun reports, observed her “drinking out of an unknown can” in a video feed inside the car, and stopped to investigate. To her credit, Cantrell tried to hide the beverage between her legs. “I retrieved this can and noticed it was Steel Reserve Beer,” the police report deadpans. (More Tasha Lee Cantrell stories.)
