Fox News Made Man Threaten Pelosi: Mother

The mother of the San Francisco man arrested for making threatening calls to Nancy Pelosi over her role in health care reform says his ill-advised action was inspired in part by listening to Fox News. Greg Giusti “frequently gets in with a group of people that have really radical ideas,” says Eleanor, “which gets him into problems." She adds: "Fox News, or all of those that are really radical, and he, that's where he comes from."

But his rages don't seem to be all political: In 2004, Giusti was sentenced to a year in jail for death threats against a train conductor, the New York Daily News reports. Yesterday in court, the 48-year-old cried as a judge denied his request to be released to a halfway house and ordered him held without bail pending an evaluation of his mental state.
