A Chicago cab driver was arrested without incident this morning and charged with trying to send money overseas to help al-Qaeda. Raja Lahrasib Khan, 56, a native of Pakistan who became a naturalized US citizen in 1988, was ordered held without bond. He allegedly also talked about bombing a stadium and claimed to be connected to a known terrorist leader based in Pakistan, Ilyas Kashmiri.

"While there was no imminent danger in the Chicago area or elsewhere, these charges, once again, affirm that law enforcement must remain constantly vigilant to guard against domestic support of foreign terrorist organizations," the US attorney, Patrick Fitzgerald, said in a statement.
