Mom: Daughter Pissed Me Off, I Killed Her
Marissa Pagli, 18, was strangled by her mom for "pissing her off."   (Pagli family)

A New York mom has admitted strangling her teenage daughter in her White Plains living room for being "rude" and disrespectful. "I couldn't take it any more," Stacey Pagli, 38, told police in a statement released yesterday in court. "She pissed me off for the last time. She couldn't talk to me like that." Her final words before strangling 18-year-old Marissa last month as she "flailed her arms" were: "This will be the last time you speak to me like that."

Pagli's fatal rage began the previous night when she argued with her husband, who called her "a bitch and other things I don't ever want to hear or repeat again," she told cops. Pagli, who has been treated with anti-depressants, tried to commit suicide after the attack on her daughter and is on suicide watch in Westchester County jail, reports the Journal News. She has been charged with second-degree murder.
