Health reform advocates are going into the home stretch battle with an angry ad campaign slamming insurance company execs as smug private-jet jockeys wallowing in profits and other people's pain. "Health Insurance companies are out of control," says a narrator, with a picture of insurance executives high-fiving. "They deny our claims, drop us when we're sick, and pay their CEOs huge bonuses."

While executives collect "record bonuses," families are left in "financial ruin," the ad states. "If the Insurance companies win, we lose." The spots, paid for by Americans United for Change and the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees, will run on cable networks and on CBS during the NCAA games.
