A 7-month-old Argentine baby has miraculously survived being shot as part of her parents’ apparent suicide pact. The baby girl was found covered in blood alongside the bodies of her parents and her 2-year-old brother, a bullet lodged in her chest, ABC News reports. She’d been there for three days; police were summoned to the house because neighbors noticed the smell of the bodies.

The unnamed infant was taken to a hospital in Goya, where doctors removed the bullet. They say it missed her vital organs, and that she is now out of danger. Her parents appear to have shot themselves and their children over global warming fears, according to a note reportedly written by the father, 56-year-old Francisco Otero, a wealthy faith healer and devotee of parapsychology.
