William Kristol thinks Republicans and conservatives are entitled to celebrate over the current state of President Obama's agenda, "but only a little." After all, the bulk of the credit goes to Obama himself (his "big-government liberalism" united foes), Nancy Pelosi (for being "ideologically blinkered"), Harry Reid ("short-tempered" and "incompetent") and the tea partiers: "It’s this simple: No Tea Parties, no defeat of Obamacare."

All of which adds up to a good year for the right, says Kristol in the Weekly Standard. But there's little time to gloat. "The big task of 2011: framing a post-financial crisis, post-Obama governing vision for the country. And then the task of 2012: finding a candidate, and winning the chance to govern. All of that lies ahead."
