He wasn't kidding. Jon Stewart is about the only person on TV who didn't slam the health summit yesterday. While most networks dismissed the talks as political theater, Stewart said on The Daily Show the summit revealed "issues where there was great agreement on health care on both the Democrat and Republican side and room for negotiation."

Obviously "there was grandstanding and some posturing," he acknowledged, doing a long play-by-play breakout of the day's highlights. "But there were some really substantive points made here." Stewart ripped the media for being too dismissive of the summit, presenting a string of video clips of negative commentary on the talks that ended with Wolf Blitzer asking a CNN panel how they would score the talks if they were an Olympic event. Stewart's response: "I would disqualify YOU for sucking."
