'Pickleback' Tops Nickelback... 'Frontman' Pissed

Most important news of the day: The pickle prominently featured on Facebook page “Can this pickle get more fans than Nickelback” did, indeed, accrue more fans than the band. Though a Facebook exchange between the "frontman" and the page’s founder (at left) appears to be a fake, the faux Chad Kroeger inspired quite a bit of anti-Nickelback sentiment.

"This pickle sold 30+ million albums?" posts "Chad Kroeger" in one discussion thread. "this pickle is band of the year? this pickle is a rock icon of this decade? haha nope...but i am." Replies ranged from the predictably juvenile (one commenter disses Kroeger's "tiny balls") to the more sophisticated ("Chad, you had one decent song, and I can only listen to it when I'm drunk and depressed.")
