Lindsay Lohan may have a flagging acting career, trainwrecky personal life, and disappointing fashion debut, but at least she had a $150,000 escort gig—until she messed that up, too. Austrian billionaire Richard Lugner was set to pay up for LiLo to accompany him to yesterday’s Vienna Opera Ball, as Ivana Trump, Pam Anderson, and Paris Hilton have done in the past. The fallen starlet, however, wanted the event rescheduled; wouldn’t vet her gown; then missed her private jet and refused to take a shared plane.

“Which is too bad, because high-end escorting would be a good way for Lindsay to earn her nut,” writes Maureen O'Connor on Gawker. “The painful truth is that, at the tender age of 23, Lindsay—like so many of Lugner's beauties—is past her prime.” But she can look “fabulous, dramatic, and gloriously skanky amid luxury, which is why international high-end party-for-pay girl is not a bad choice—in fact, she would excel at it.”
