Heidi: Mom Looked at Me 'Like a Zoo Animal'

Just when you hoped you'd heard the last of Heidi Montag's plastic surgery drama, the reality star is sharing with the world her pain at her mother's reaction. "She was looking at me almost like a zoo animal," Montag tells People. "It wasn't like I was her daughter anymore. She was looking at me like I was a circus freak." The intimate and painful reunion was, of course, filmed for The Hills.

"She was saying how sad it is that my confidence is gone because of the music industry I'm trying to get into," Montag continues. "I wanted to be the most beautiful, inside and out. It's part of being a pop star."
