The president and first lady have a common beef today: Both have showed up in prominent advertisements without their permission. PETA is using Michelle's image to spread its anti-fur message, while the president appears on a Times Square billboard. He's photographed in a Weatherproof brand jacket with the tagline: "A leader in style."
Michelle is photoshopped onto an ad with celebrities who have spoken out against the wearing of fur. Her office confirms she doesn't wear any but tersely notes that it did not give consent, reports USA Today. Meanwhile, Weatherproof bought an image of President Obama wearing one of its jackets from AP. A White House spokesman says the billboard is a no-no, but the company counters that it's making the president appear "great looking."
