TMZ's JFK Pic a Hoax
The Smoking Gun has found the real image—from a 1967 Playboy spread—that TMZ had claimed was a photo of JFK frolicking with naked women.   (Playboy/The Smoking Gun)

A photo touted by TMZ as a candid snapshot of John Kennedy partying on a boat with topless women has been revealed as a fake. The photo is plenty real—it appears in a 1967 Playboy spread alongside a story entitled "Charter Yacht Party: How to Have a Ball on the Briny with an Able-Bodied Complement of Ship's Belles." TMZ's version was in black and white, presumably to give the snap a veneer of authenticity.

The man thought to be Kennedy—visible on the top left—was a paid model, the original photographer tells the Smoking Gun. (More nude photo stories.)
