'Draco' Defends Daniel Radcliffe Over Pot Pic
The Mirror ran a picture of Daniel Radcliffe supposedly smoking weed.   (Daily Mirror (UK))

Tom Felton may play Daniel Radcliffe’s arch-enemy in the Harry Potter films, but in real life he’s jumping to Radcliffe’s defense in Marijuanagate. “Harry” made headlines earlier this month when a British tabloid ran a photo of him allegedly toking up (jazzed up by a supposedly overheard quote, “I love weed”), but he quickly denied smoking anything other than cigarettes—and “Draco” has his back, the Telegraph reports.

“Obviously Daniel and Emma Watson are under more pressure to keep a squeaky-clean image. When the media fabricates stories I don't think it's really fair on those poor guys,” Felton says. “He did ring me last week. He's a trouper, he's doing his best. I just reassured him that the vast majority of people are on his side.”
