Defeated for the French presidency and newly single, Ségolène Royal is relaunching her political career with a tell-all in one of the country's mass-market celebrity mags. And not just any celebrity mag: She's on the cover of Paris Match, employer of the other woman in her relationship with François Hollande, the London Times reports.

Royal is in La Rochelle for the Socialist Party's annual meeting, and despite internal party opposition she seems set to take over her ex-partner Hollande's job as leader. "Break-ups open new possibilities," Royal told the magazine, which photographed her in a hotel room—with only one pillow on the bed. (More Segolene Royal stories.)
