Garrison Keillor is in the hospital following a minor stroke, but he is in good condition and expects to start the new season of “A Prairie Home Companion” on time, the AP reports. “He is up and moving around, speaking sensibly, working on a laptop,” says a hospital spokesman. Keillor will remain at the hospital until tomorrow for further testing.

"I am in the hands of smart and compassionate people and plan to get out on Friday and get right back to work," Keillor said. "And that's the news from here." (More Garrison Keillor stories.)
