Jackson Left Behind Secret 100-Song Library

Michael Jackson might have a few albums left in him. The singer left behind over a hundred recorded songs that could now be released posthumously, the Times reports. The songs were made for his children, according to Jackson biographer Ian Halperin, but because the singer also left behind about $400 million worth of debt, they’re unlikely to remain private for long.

“He wants to leave them for his kids, a very personal legacy to them. I was told he will not let them come out,” Halperin said before Jackson’s death. The songs could be real money-makers if released soon; Jackson music and memorabilia is selling like hotcakes. Thriller has jumped to number one on iTunes, while 14 of the top 20 albums on Amazon are Jackson’s. (More Michael Jackson stories.)
