Let the viral marketing begin. Michael Moore pulled a fast one on New York moviegoers Friday night when, instead of a conventional trailer for his new film, he appeared onscreen Will Rogers-style asking for donations to “save our CEOs,” the New York Daily News reports. Audience reactions were filmed as ushers walked up and down the aisles with donation jars.
“Now, I know what you’re thinking, ‘I already gave at the bailout,’ and I know you did,” he says in the video (at left). “But even if you’ve given in the past, give some more. It’ll make you feel good.” (More Michael Moore stories.)
