Funny Fallon Picks Up Degree

Jimmy Fallon performed 20 minutes of stand-up today and walked away with two college degrees, the Albany Times Union reports. Receiving a bachelor of arts and an honorary doctorate 17 years after entering the College of Saint Rose in upstate New York, the Late Night host kept fellow grads laughing at commencement. Stick with life, he told them, even though it can be expensive.

"There's always going to be someone out there like that movie critic, who doesn't believe in you or who thinks your head is too big or you're not smart enough or whatever," Fallon told the crowd. "But those are the people you need to ignore." One semester short of graduating in communications, Fallon earned his final credits by presenting his work in television and film, the AP reports.
