The NFL yesterday denied rumors that Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick would be suspended for the entire 2007 season after being indicted on several felony charges stemming from a dogfighting scandal, reports USA Today. "No decision has been made," said an NFL spokesman.

The NFL will wait for the results of an independent fact-finding review before deciding what to do. Yahoo! News reported yesterday that, according to two sources, Vick would be cut from the whole season. "The plan was to make sure it was announced before the season,"  one source said. "There's really no choice." (More Michael Vick stories.)
