(AP Photo/ Ed Pagliarini, Pool, File) Former NBA star Jayson Williams was hospitalized after acting "suicidal" and "violent," the New York Post reports. Police officers used "an electrical device" to subdue Williams, who had barricaded himself inside a New York hotel room. He was taken to a hospital for a psychological evaluation. The former Nets and 76ers player has had brushes with the law in the past. Earlier this year, Williams' estranged wife claimed he once threatened to kill her and their daughters. In 2002, Williams was accused of shooting and killing a limo driver. He was acquitted of most of the charges but faces a retrial for reckless manslaughter.
