Travelers Flock to Nazi Tours

The world has moved on in many ways, but for many tourists, a visit to Germany often boils down to two things: beer and Hitler. "I'm no Nazi," said an American who's spending most of his four-day visit on Hitler's trail. "I'm just interested in Germany." And, as Der Spiegel reports, he's among many tourists who spend their holidays nosing out the country's Nazi past.

Englishman Jeff Cox has sucessfully guided his "Third Reich Tour" for 10 years. His Munich excursion includes visits to the former Gestapo headquarters, the square where Nazis rallied, and the beer hall where Hitler delivered speeches. "There on the right, that's where Adolf Hitler stood," says Cox as his excited group snaps photos in the bar. (More Nazis stories.)
