Man Stomps Kittens to Death

A California man faces felony animal cruelty charges after stomping three kittens to death in a grocery store parking lot, KSBY of San Luis Obispo reports. David Pierce is in Santa Barbara County Jail on $20,000 bond after witnesses saw him take the animals out of a plastic bag and stomp on them.

Pierce was unapologetic when the store manager confronted him: "He more or less just cussed me out and said they were just stupid cats,” Richard Bjork said. “He obviously had some kind of alcohol problem because he was always buying vodka."
