NY Congressional Race Remains Dead Heat

The vote tally from Tuesday’s special election in New York’s 20th Congressional District is dead even tonight, the Albany Times Union reports after the state’s elections board released the latest totals. The contest between Democrat Scott Murphy and Republican Jim Tedisco is far from being decided, however, with 10 counties still recounting votes—to say nothing of absentee ballots, for which there is an April 13 deadline.
