University smashes previous record for Waldo gathering

Rutgers University has broken a Guinness World Record by packing a theater with 1,052 students and faculty members dressed in red-striped shirts in an homage to the Where’s Waldo books, the Daily Targum reports. The group was almost twice the size of the crowd of 577 that previously held the “Largest Gathering of People Dressed like Waldo in a Single Place” record. The $5 admission fee for taking part in the event went to charity.
