In what might not be the best PR move, Michael Jackson invited the young stars of the Harry Potter films backstage for the opener of his London summer concerts, the Sun reports. “He was utterly enchanted by the magic of JK Rowling’s novels,” a source says. “He is a big admirer of the films too; he owns all the movies and … memorabilia for his collection.”

If Harry, Ron and Hermione take Jacko up on his offer, they’ll get to watch him arrive by riverboat. The arrangement was made after Michael told organizers he is afraid of helicopters and of being driven “in public places,” the Mirror adds. “He loves the idea of turning up by boat,” says a source. “He thinks it’s much more glamorous and very James Bond.” (More Harry Potter stories.)
