Miami Man Kills 4 in Murder-Suicide

A furious Miami man gunned down four people at a birthday party today, including his estranged wife and daughter, before setting his house and truck ablaze and killing himself, the Miami Herald reports. He also killed his mother-in-law and his daughter’s boyfriend at the party, where he showed up and blamed people for his broken marriage.

The unidentified shooter rushed home after the attack and set off a blaze with propane tanks. ''The fire was intentionally set,'' said a Miami fire spokesman. The building's landlord said the assailant was a friendly Cuban who had worked as a cook before becoming an electrician. His wife and son once lived with him, the landlord said.
