The sexual assault allegations against music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs keep coming, this time in the form of seven new civil lawsuits. As Variety reports, those lawsuits were filed by the Buzbee Law Firm, part of what it said earlier this month were a total of 120 incoming claims against Combs. More:

  • The lawsuits: Five suits were filed against Combs Sunday night in the Southern District of New York, while two others were filed in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. They accuse Combs variously of rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment, battery, or false imprisonment in incidents between 2000 and 2022 that occurred at parties hosted by Combs. The plaintiffs include four men and three women.

  • The case making headlines: One plaintiff alleges that she was just 13 in 2000 when she took a drink at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty hosted by Combs, at which point she started to "feel woozy and lightheaded." She went to lie down in a bedroom, and says Combs, along with an unnamed male and female celebrity came in the room. "You are ready to party!" Combs told the girl, per CNN. Her complaint alleges that she was raped by the male celebrity, then Combs, as the assaults were watched by the others.
  • Another case: A man says that Combs offered him a drink at the age of 17 in 2022 before assaulting him, telling him that "he could make him a star," per CNN.
  • Combs' response: Per his lawyers, "Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—adult or minor, man or woman."
