Former Tonight Show host Jay Leno has been hospitalized with severe burns—but the 72-year-old says he's going to be OK. Sources tell TMZ that Leno was taken to the Grossman Burn Center on Sunday after a fire at the Los Angeles garage where he keeps his cars. The sources say one of the cars suddenly burst into flames, injuring the left side of Leno's face. "I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am ok," Leno said in a statement to Variety. "Just need a week or two to get back on my feet."

Leno's series about motor vehices, Jay Leno’s Garage, just wrapped its seventh season, per Variety. He also hosts the revival of You Bet Your Life. People reports that attendees at a financial conference in Las Vegas Sunday were told that Leno wouldn't be able to make it because of a medical emergency. "His family was not able to provide us very many details, but there was a very serious medical emergency that is preventing Jay from traveling," organizers said. "All we know is that he is alive, so our prayers go out to him and his family tonight." (More Jay Leno stories.)
