Big Shot kicked off its second season on Wednesday, and star John Stamos has been making the rounds to talk about the Disney+ show, what it's like working with today's young actors, and life at home with his wife and 4-year-old son. In an interview published Wednesday with E! News, the 59-year-old actor also talked about the chances of a Full House reboot coming to fruition, and they're basically slim to none, for a very personal reason: the death of co-star Bob Saget in January at the age of 65. "It's just not the same without him," Stamos tells the outlet. "There's something missing, there's a piece missing."
Stamos notes he talks about Saget constantly, and that he's taken part in tributes for him. But a tribute by way of reupping Full House yet again—there's already been a Fuller House sequel—doesn't seem to be in the cards. Stamos jokes with E! that he and Saget used to laugh at the thought of a future Fullest House being "the family and me in an urn on the fireplace."
Stamos has had more to say about Saget of late: On Tuesday, TMZ ran into the actor in Times Square, and Stamos gushed about how "bombastic" Saget had been with his love. Meanwhile, in a more poignant note during a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Stamos made a heartbreaking assessment of his friend. Saget "was very insecure," Stamos said. "He wasn't where he wanted to be in his career. ... there was a tsunami of love for him, but he didn't see it. I know he didn't realize how loved he was." (More John Stamos stories.)
