The Bulls grabbed Derrick Rose with the first overall pick last night in a wild NBA draft dominated by college freshmen. For the first time in history, the top three picks all were first-year wonders, ESPN reports. The Timberwolves then traded that third pick—OJ Mayo—for No. 5 pick Kevin Love, who was, you guessed it, a freshman.

Here’s how the lottery played out:

  1. Chicago: Derrick Rose
  2. Miami: Michael Beasely
  3. Minnesota: OJ Mayo (Traded to Memphis)
  4. Seattle: Russell Westbrook
  5. Memphis: Kevin Love (Traded to Minnesota)
  6. New York: Danilo Gallinari
  7. LA Clippers: Eric Gordon
  8. Milwaukee: Joe Alexander
  9. Charlotte: D.J. Augustin
  10. New Jersey: Brook Lopez
  11. Indiana: Jerryd Barless (Traded to Portland)
  12. Sacramento: Jason Thompson
  13. Portland: Brandon Rush (Traded to Indiana)
  14. Golden State: Anthony Randolph
