The University of Florida men's basketball player who collapsed face-first on the court during Saturday's game is still in critical but stable condition after being placed in a medically induced coma after the incident, but on Monday afternoon the school said he was "following simple commands" and undergoing further tests. Keyontae Johnson's grandfather had earlier told USA Today doctors were hoping to bring his grandson out of the coma Monday, though it's not clear whether that has happened. ESPN previously reported Johnson, along with "most" of the team, tested positive for COVID-19, which can lead to an infection of the heart muscle, over the summer, but USA Today notes that Johnson's grandfather says he isn't sure whether his grandson ever had the coronavirus.
