When authorities finally located Lori Vallow, a person of interest in the disappearance of two of her children, they also located a cellphone belonging to one of those children. That's according to a source who spoke to CBS News about the case; JJ Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 17, were last seen in Idaho, where the family lived, in September. Lori Vallow fled the state shortly after police conducted a welfare check on the kids in November, and authorities located her and her husband, Chad Daybell (who is not the children's father) in Hawaii last month. The source says that authorities found Tylee's cellphone with her mother, and that someone—but it's not clear who— had used it a few times since Tylee was last seen.

On Oct. 25, more than a month after Tylee vanished, the source says a text was sent from the teen's phone to a friend who was concerned about her. "hi. miss you guys too …luv ya." The recipient of the text says it didn't sound like Tylee. That same month, two small Venmo payments were sent from the teen's account to a relative. Last week, it was revealed that when Vallow left Idaho, she left behind a storage unit full of children's items. (Much more on the strange case, which involves the deaths of Vallow's brother and both Vallow's and Daybell's previous spouses, here.)
