The Coast Guard is searching for a tourist helicopter with seven people aboard that failed to return from a Thursday flight. The alarm went up at 6pm Thursday when the helicopter—believed to have two minors, four adult passengers, and the pilot aboard—did not return as scheduled around 5:20pm from the coast of Kauai, reports Hawaii News Now. "The weather conditions are challenging," says a Coast Guard statement, which cites wind, rain, and low visibility. The helicopter has an electronic locator, but no signal has been picked up. It had been on a tour of Kauai's Na Pali coast. (More Hawaii stories.)
